Your stay

The museum visit takes place by means of guided tours.
Here you will find all information about the various visiting options as well as about booking tickets.

Please place bags and backpacks (larger than A4) in the available lockers.

ACCESSIBILITY

Our building is not fully barrier-free. Guests with limited mobility and wheelchair users can access the museum via an elevator. The floor is uneven. Some installations cannot be viewed, or can only be viewed to a limited extent, because they are only accessible by stairs. Museum stools are available.

Flickering light effects may trigger seizures in people with photosensitive epilepsy.

For visits with small children we recommend using a baby carrier. Strollers cannot be taken into the museum.

PHOTOGRAPHY

For photography enthusiasts, we offer the option of joining a public photo tour or booking a private photo tour.

During public tours, photos may only be taken with a smartphone.

How to find the museum

By car: when using navigation devices, please enter as address: “Massenerstraße 31”. Many devices still do not recognize Lindenplatz 1. When in Unna, follow the information signs to either “Lindenbrauerei” or the “Zentrum für Internationale Lichtkunst”.

By bus: from the busstop at Central Station you can take bus-lines C 40 or C 42 to the “Lindenbrauerei”.

By train: from the railway station continue your journey by bus or on foot (approx. 15 min) along Bahnhofstraße (pedestrian zone) until you reach Marktplatz, where you turn right into Massener Straße, which you follow straight on until you see the Linden Brewery Unna on the right hand side. The Centre for International Light Art is located in this building.

Parking: We recommend the parking lot “Massener Straße”.
